Like so many snipers, I watch Kicking Mustang & Cam Man videos religiously. After seeing them use these rifles, with ultra-silent stealthy shots, I had to get one. What I came to realize is that these guns require more care than I want to put forth; which isn’t to say their maintenance is extensive, because it’s not. However, I’m used to VSR/SSG style rifles that are very low with maintenance requirements. Moreover, this rifle is a SPECIALIZED weapon: it requires fine tuning to be the precise instrument you intend for it to be. After a few games, I realized this wasn’t what I (personally) wanted from a rifle. Helpful Notes: •I realize this is a sought after gun and many of you happening across this listing are disappointed to see it’s a lefty. In consideration of this, I’ve set my asking price just north of retail for the gun. Retail: $530 - Asking: $560. This coverings the $56 shipping fee, leaving me with an almost even $500. Between the gun & internals, this package is retail valued @ nearly $800. I’m not asked for any compensation on the internal parts & additional inclusions with this sale. •Remember, you can purchase a right-hand body conversation for the rifle. •The VMP came with Lithium grease, which Cam Man & KM feature in their “Care & Upkeep” videos. I live in Colorado, where the thin, dry air eliminates some of the effectiveness of the lithium grease. This made for a “sticky” bolt. My tech & I discovered through a sniper forum that automotive grease works extremely well; and it really does 😂 the bolt slides EFFORTLESSLY. Downside: the rifles smells slightly of a mechanic shop. I’m willing to clean off the grease (the smell will dissipate over time) OR I can clean & apply a fresh coat.
