Core is made of multiple ceramic layers, exterior is bubble foam covered in 100mph/duct tape. Bought it for $85, used them twice on a run during Rona, then had my real plates shipped to me. Weight per plate is 5.5 lbs, get your body ready for your next MSW. Will update with more accurate weight.
