- Up for sale is my never fielded and fully functional ARES Amoeba AM-013 "Honey Badger" that was purchased brand new by me. It is 100% stock and works perfectly without any issues at all. I am very picky and indecisive, so I keep on swapping platforms... - This is the Generation 5 which is the latest version of this gun. You can tell it's a Gen 5 by the new straight trigger. - It comes with several accessories and external parts: new pistol grip (original one is included), ambidextrous mag release (original one is included), rail segments with the screws, handstops, Airtech Battery Extension Unit, Airtech Flat Top Rail, Magpul MBUS Sights (original sights are included), and one generic M4 midcap. - The battery extension unit (BEU) is one of the most useful upgrades for this gun since it greatly increases the battery size, I can actually a fit a standard size 8.4v or 9.6v NiMH brick battery into the stock with room to spare! In the video, I am using a huge 9.6v Tenergy brick battery. Normally, this gun can ONLY take very small PEQ style LiPOs without the extension. - The ARES Amoeba AM-013 "Honey Badger" is an overall excellent gun with many features. From the factory, it has a ETU (electronic trigger unit and you can change firing modes with a programmer), a microswitch trigger (feels and sounds like a mouseclick), a MOSFET, quick spring change system, and a 6.03mm tightbore barrel. The trigger response is very fast/snappy especially on semi-auto, and the overall performance and quality is excellent.
