It has a kydex retention strap that can be dropped via button. It is molded with enough quality that it can retain the pistol without the retention strap and is a very heavy duty construction. The holster attaches to the mounts via a quick attach button system, enabling you to drop the mounts on your different rigs and quickly change between them on the fly.
