I am selling an AS-NEW JG BAR 10 that has full power factory upgrades like aluminum piston, metal spring guide, M170 spring and upgraded trigger sears. This BAR 10 is adult owned and was purchased as a project test rifle to blueprint /enhance the accuracy and performance without installing additional expensive parts. The goal was to get performance close to a Novritsch or similar parts kit. All work was performed by a gunsmith and the rifle was completely gone over to improve on the flaws that usually come with a stock factory gun. Action & trigger were polished for smoother operation, internal metal friction surfaces were polished and treated with moly to reduce wear, barrel was cleaned polished and lightly crowned to remove burrs left by the factory tooling, spring loaded BB retainer in the hop-up was modified with a countersunk hole to capture the BBs fed from the magazine so they don't double feed into the hop-up chamber which is a common issue with BAR 10s (See photo). Cylinder nozzle was polished to prevent gouging the BB retainer and hop-up bucking and also give a better seal.The riflestock screws were properly adjusted & torqued to allow for the correct magazine engagement to provide the most consistent feeding. Scope mount rear hole has been slotted to allow correct hole alignment & mounting with 3 screws for a more secure base. The Tasco scope which is made for a real firearm is far superior in durability and quality compared to the low budget NC Star or AIM brand that usually is packaged with these rifles. The rifle was tested after all the modifications were done and average FPS readings are: 1) 528.6 FPS w/ .20g, 2) 501.4 FPS w/ .25g, 3) 392.9 FPS w/ .40g. FPS variation was within 10 FPS for all BB weights. Offer up
