I bought an arp9 in June last year. Tho it comes with the orange tip and you cannot simply unscrew it. However if you look around it you can see a set screw/pin. Rather than twisting it off and ruining you threads you can simply drill the “head” of the screw as it’s shaped like a T and it will fall off in two. Then unscrew it and you won’t have messed up threads or damage to your gun. This can be done without removing the hand guard. There are no videos on YouTube of how to remove the tip without ruining your gun one way or another. This is simply the easiest way to remove the orange tip, this may work on other guns too.
